He had the opportunity to interview Nick Foligno when he was in the 3rd grade while he was home remote learning during the Covid period. He thought it was super cool and he was so funny!

He tries to picture himself in different situations in the game and envisions what he's going to do, so that when those things happen he doesn't have to think. He can just react.

Baseball, swimming, volleyball, drawing, reading, chess, lifting/working out
Other fun facts:
A couple of years ago he wrote a letter to Cale Makar and included a signed picture of himself (kind of as a joke). He wrote a really cool letter back to Drew and included his rookie card, also signed.
He and his brother visited the Hockey Hall of Fame when they were in Toronto this summer and got to see the Stanley Cup up close.

His favorite holiday is Halloween. He loves Halloween so much that he gets crazy decorations (e.g., animatronics, gravestones, etc.) as Christmas presents. He builds haunted trails through his driveway, yard, and garage for kids to walk through before they get candy at his house. This year, he got a 12-foot skeleton to put in the yard!
